Nereus Compressed Air System

Kepler Energy has built the Nereus Compressed Air System and the Nereus Piston System for the power generation and energy storage market. The Nereus Compressed Air System was designed to produce energy from compressed gases by cycling a buoyant vehicle up and down in water. A full patent was issued in September, 2009. This system can be used in many applications to improve energy production from large scale grid applications to small backup power systems for residential and industrial consumers. Kepler Energy is working to raise the capital to fund a pilot project and commercialization of the 10kW system producing electricity from multiple fuel sources.
